1. Including the horses, 19, but then I can't really see their eyes...... 2. No strong feelings. 3. Not particularly. 4. Probably hippos and croc's. Invisible killers.......

I saw 16. I have not ridden in years but I am in no big hurry to. I grew up with horses and rode all the time as a child. I am more afraid of bugs that bite. Usually you don't see them and some can do some big damage.

Correct, though I should have said faces rather than eyes. The faces are shown in a picture posted in this blog post. Congratulations, your first prize is a steak meal; I hope you're not vegetarian! [image]

Horseracing is an appalling abuse of these usually very gentle animals. Even I get spooked in the same way that horses do, sometimes. Two months ago, it led to a collision with a moving car and I could have been very badly injured, fortunately all I suffered was sore feet after the vehicle ran over my feet and a small graze to my arm. I think the driver was more shaken than I was. I counted 12 faces and only 5 showing pairs of eyes, the rest I could only see one eye each As a consolation and apology prize, please accept some Betty Crocker cream pie! [image]

As mentioned, I should have said faces rather than eyes. My apologies. There are 13 faces in the painting of Bev Doolittle, an American artist specialising in the American West (especially the native American West): [image]
