FUCKING PANCAKES

FUCKING PANCAKES  It's pancake day but I won't be eating pancakes because I can't make them. I used to be able to make them, but not any more. I love pancakes, especially with sugar and lemon. Simple is best sometimes! When I was a , my Mum and Dad used to take me to a nearby Little Chef restaurant and their speciality, along with their breakfasts, was pancakes. I used to love their Jubilee pancakes made with black cherries. Can you make pancakes? Do you like pancakes? If so, what's your favourite filling? Is blogland very quiet at the moment? I can't believe I'm blogging about pancakes. I need to get a grip and stop this one-blog-a-day policy I have. Maybe I've got an OCD!   |

I can make pancakes but didn't make any today. Maybe I'll have some tomorrow just to be different!  There's nothing wrong with blogging about pancakes....pancakes are good!  Blogging does seem quiet just now....maybe people are having sex instead! ~~Anais Nin~~

Of course I can make pancakes who can't? If you used to make them, you can make them again..just buy the ingredients! I never knew today was pancake day!...Is it a European day?  Is it a holiday you don't have to work? At our family campout, I was the pancake maker...blueberry buttermilk pancakes were the favorite!

I made some this morning. I usually make pancakes once a week. I like mine with bananas and strawberries. This weekend I made them with a cheesecake filling and strawberries. My daughter likes them with blueberries and my son likes chocolate chips. I make extra and leave them on the stove, during the day the kids walk by and grab them as a snack. Even my dogs love my pancakes. LOL Shrove Tuesday!

I hope you can again make pancakes, some day, spunky... There is nowt wrong with blogging about pancakes... They are a perfectly valid topic. I can make pancakes and I enjoy it. I do like/love pancakes but I generally don't fill them with anything but on rare occasions, I use custard as a filling (sometimes chocolate custard). I do, however, love to flavour the mixture either with coffee or cinnamon sugar and serve them with icecream and good maple syrup (no nasty generic "maple flavoured" cack). I haven't noticed that blogland is quiet, seems about the same as usual.

When I read the title of this post, I was imagining the excitement of you regaling us about the pleasure of wrapping a pancake around something and making it yummy with a very special filling...

I'm not a big fan of pancakes - if given the choice, I always choose waffles. But, crepes - that's another story entirely. I like them, because they are so much lighter.
