That would be fun... a blogger proposing to a fellow blogger. I'd probably not plan too much. I'm not big on public spectacles lol. Most likely I'd just slip it in on a normal conversation. Or while cuddling. Or something. Of course I also expect the guy to do the proposing.

I kind of remember reading I think it was last year that some woman did turn one down, where it was on a scoreboard in a football stadium. Um I think it should be a slam dunk. Meaning if you planned something big you already know the answer. To me it is about two people, not the world just my humble opinion. I knew we were going to get engaged we had looked at rings. But did not know when: So we are dressed to go see a musical. And he says I do not think you are quite dressed yet. Hands me the box, I open and he asked will you marry me and some other things. I said yes. The Musical? Best little whorehouse in TX. Naughty and so enjoying it!!

Have you ever seen a marriage proposal get turned down in public? saw one on the big screen at a foot ball game.. He was heart broken. If you were to propose marriage (or equivalent) to someone, how would you plan it? I got my proposed too at the liquor store before we headed out camping. Go figure! hugssssssssssssss V Become a blog watcher sweet_vm

There is a documentary called "Unhung Hero" that begins with a public proposal at a UCLA basketball game being declined. In a later private conversation, the woman gave the man a few reasons, one of which was his small penis. The rest of the documentary is about him looking for ways to make it bigger.

My fantasy proposal would be outdoors at some romantic spot, like an overlook, that had become a favorite for us as a couple. I would do it after a romantic dinner at a nearby restaurant. The familiar location contributes to preserving the surprise, since going there won't seem unusual. The public proposal strikes me as horribly unfair to the recipient. I don't think anyone should be 100% sure of acceptance. That's taking his partner for granted.

I've never seen a public proposal to know whether it was turned down or not. I know of some blogger couples who have married....but the proposals were private! ~~Anais Nin~~
