WOULD YOU EAT THIS?
WOULD YOU EAT THIS? I’ve been staring at the photo above for ages, and I just can’t work out what it is. I presume it’s edible or maybe it’s a work of art! My only guess is that it’s a chocolate cheese biscuit sandwich. But chocolate and cheese don’t go well together, or do they? Like most people probably, I like to know what I’m eating. Once in Hong Kong at a business lunch, I didn’t want to know what I was eating. It was a dim sum dinner - see below - but I just didn’t want to know what was inside as I knew dim sum is often made of leftovers. I was quite sure that what was inside the dim sums was not something I wanted to eat. As I didn’t want to offend my hosts by refusing to eat their food, I didn’t ask and just quickly gulped a few without chewing. What do you think the above dish is? And, would you eat it? Have you eaten anything that you didn’t know what it was? |

I don't know what it's called but it makes me sick looking at it. I'd rather have the dim sum. They eat them in China and look at their historical rate of reproduction. It took a totalitarian dictatorship to persuade them to cum on her tits. I did eat something mysterious once. I took a friend to Chicago to visit his cousins one holiday weekend. They lived in South Chighetto and as soon as we arrived we all went to the bodega to stock up for a feast. They were very traditional Mexican and the finest hosts you can imagine. The women kept my plate full and never let my beer glass go dry. One of the young and sloe eyed senoritas put a plate in front of me piled with pale triangles about two inches on a side of some flat and floppy substance that I didn't recognize so after eating a few- and by the way, they were pretty good- I asked. Xavier said they were cueritos. It didn't mean anything to me so I asked what they were made from, and most of his explanation was lost on me but I did pick out the word puerco....and then it dawned on me. It was pickled pig skin. You could see the pores and follicles on them, once you knew what you were looking at! Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

What do you think the above dish is? And, would you eat it? Not really sure what to think of it. Looks horribly sweet, that may keep me away from it Have you eaten anything that you didn’t know what it was? OMG yes!! In The whole of Southeast Asia, I tried anything. But I was 18, today? No way would I eat anything I did not know the ingredients

I have texture issues. I enjoy the taste of onions and peppers but unless they are crispy fried or pureed, I can't eat them. It is a slime factor. Which is strange because I can eat puddings, other vegetables and most fruits that can be slimy. The worst thing I can remember eating is okra in a soup. Major slime factor...Funny, I have no problem swallowing my husbands cum...

I would try both. I bet that din sum was yummy, adventurous so I will try anything once.

It doesn't look very appealing to me so I'd pass thanks. I like Dim Sum. I have often eaten something that I didn't know what it was.....when I go out to a new restaurant I will always try something I haven't had before....anyway once I ordered Calamari......lol never again it was horrible!!!! ~~Anais Nin~~

I've never heard of a smore until this post. I live and learn. I don't east tripe for that reason, no matter how tasty it may be! My Dad liked eating tripe but he was raised in post-war food-rationed 1950s' Britain!

I'm trying to get my head round what an alligator andouille is. But they will eat us, so it's okay to eat them. I'm now going to find out what an andouille is.

It's an alligator sausage. I love sausages. That's probably the best way to start getting into eating alligators. I'll have mine with mash and onion gravy please.

I'm pretty sure that the top picture is deep-fried Mars bars in between Arnott's Nice biscuits (they are sprinkled with sugar and have that style of scolloped edge design). It's a stack of 3. Would I eat it? I'd eat one, out of curiosity. I remember back in 2008 having my ex serve me something from an Indian foods supermarket that smelled savoury but tasted sugary and had the texture of semi-cooked polenta. It was disgusting and after the second spoonful, I couldn't compel myself to take another spoonful. I never did get to the bottom of what it was. I don't even think he knew. Indian sweets are very interesting and very sweet. Have you ever tried kulfi, Indian ice cream? It's delicious.

..I probably would have eaten this when I was a kid...but now ...PASS.. However...the Dim-sum.....I love most of it..and it is usually quite good but some you just have to ask what it is my friend.... there is a saying ..I heard once ...you can't be Chinese if you can't eat the nasty stuff......well...my opinion is this is....WRONG... Barshu in Leicester Square is still the place to get great Cantonese food Blue

With food, ignorance is bliss. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be curious!

You are adventurous at restaurants. I often order the same dishes once I settle on a dish I like from the menu.

I hope you're not allergic to cum!

I don't like eating pig unless it's served as bacon!

If the dish is ice cream and chocolate sauce with biscuits, I'll have seconds, thirds and fourths!

|
With regret, I have never tried kulfi but I had an oily, sugary, orange Indian confection that I really liked. If only I could remember what it was called. [image]

Smores looks a strange combination to me but I'd give them a try. Thanks for posting another photo of a smores - that looks very appetising.
