SCAMMED FOR SEX

A recent survey found that one in ten people in the UK have been scammed online. This statistic is very likely to be a significant under-estimate as people are reluctant to report when they’ve been scammed.

Have you been scammed online or offline?
Have you ever been scammed for sex?

I’ve not knowingly been scammed online or offline. I may have been scammed but I’m blissfully unaware of the dirty deed.

I may have been scammed for sex. The words, the thoughts and the imagined future all meant nothing after sex, just another notch on their bedpost.

And I probably have done the same. At the time it seems real, but afterwards it seems far from real! I’ve got no problem though of being a notch on a bedpost!

Have you ever said or done what’s needed to get inside someone’s pants?

I have!

Life can be one big scam, if you think on it a bit. Americans and Brits alike got scammed into paying for a number of stupid wars, and I don't see that con game ending any time soon.

Have you ever been scammed for sex?
No, damn it! Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Have you ever said or done what’s needed to get inside someone’s pants?
Well, yeah. Isn't that why language was invented? You don't need to have a conversation if you enter a cave and there's a bear in it.

I don't think I've ever been scammed on or off line....I'm not too gullible.

I have probably been scammed for sex....you know....he said what I wanted to hear and then I became just another notch on his bedpost.

I think it's because you're a Marxist that you don't scammed. Ditch the politics, and the sex scams will follow!

I've also heard what I wanted to hear and, before you can say abracadabra, I'm a notch!

I haven't been scammed online in the sense that I believe you are referring to but definitely once or twice offline by mail.
I have often been scammed for sex but usually that is a scam that I get something from.
I'm not cunning or manipulative enough to know how to say what's needed to get into someone's pants for sex.
I'd be interested to know how you've been scammed offline.
I may have been scammed when on holiday in The Gambia.

Those dots after your "Oh aye" answer are the most interesting. I don't mind details!

I used to receive false hope via mail that if I bought a folio of luck secrets that I could begin to see massive improvements in the sizes of my lottery wins. That's offline scam type one.

The other way that I have been scammed for sex in person is by meeting someone without any online contact. In fact, they don't even have email addresses. By false promises of love or friendship but they just treated me like a convenience. Offline scam type two.
Thanks for sharing your scam experiences.
In the past, people have tried to suck me into buying a timeshare property and to join a religious cult (Church of Scientology).
As I've got older, I'm very wary of people hard-selling me things.

The Church Of Scientology tried to suck me in as well... About 30 years ago, they lured me in to their Sydney headquarters to do a 500 question questionnaire about everything from my sex life to my emotional responses to various circumstances, then told me I needed expensive 'dianetic auditing' to remove my 'negative emotions'... When I told them that I had no immediate access to the cost (I can't recall the amount they were asking but it wasn't cheap, about 175 dollars per 1 hour session, I think), they wished me luck and sent me on my way but expressed hope that I would be able to come back for treatment (brainwashing). I never went back.
That's their style. No matter what personality etc you have, they'll always diagnose someone as needing urgent and expensive auditing. A person can go in there confident and come out unconfident. They are low life.
