B&W Television (Those 1960's)
B&W Television (Those 1960's) If you're around age chances are good you grew up with the B&W Television. Things I remember about them Turn it on and the picture would appear in a few moments. Guess the tubes had warm up (who knows). Turn it off and the picture would go a . They were so heavy move. Hated when the picture would just roll. Picture had what they called (a snowy picture) Seemed each home on street had only one TV. Our family would sit around and watch the show. (Never liked the Lawrence Welk show but had watch it)... Now I find myself going the internet and checking Lawrence Welk Fond memories... Thoughts have smile. Have a great day! ~Holly ~Holly Atlantic City, NJ |

I hated Lawerence Welk. Only one black and white tv. Parents had control. Only had 2 chanels CBC and CTV. Both bad. You watched what was on. If you adjusted the rabbit ears you might get CBC french and see a tit late at night. Wow. The memories.
